We are Comedy’s Creative Director. From development to delivery, we assemble a powerhouse creative team of writers, designers, and production leads to achieve each talent’s unique vision.

‍Disco Nap creates culture and curates real spaces for talent to show up for their community. 

‍Disco Nap was founded by Emmy Award–winning producer Lauren Mandel, who began her career as the Writer’s Assistant at Saturday Night Live, producing stand-up and variety shows for the cast and writers after office hours. Lauren left SNL in 2019 to showrun her first TV pilot for NBC called Night Late, based on a late-night format she co-created and adapted from a monthly show at UCB.

Since then, she’s been part of the producing teams behind high-profile projects including: Sabrina Carpenter’s A Nonsense Christmas (Netflix), SNL50: The Homecoming Concert, Watch with Alex Cooper for the Paris Olympics (Peacock), OMGFashun with Julia Fox (E!), the Video Music Awards (MTV/CBS), and most recently Hulu’s new talk show Get Real among others.

In 2022, Lauren partnered with frequent collaborators Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang on The Las Culturistas Culture Awards, a live award show celebrating “culture’s most iconic and consequential moments of the year,” featuring over 100 categories, musical performances, and celebrity guests.  After three sold-out years as a live event, the award show made its televised debut on Bravo/Peacock in 2025.

Through Disco Nap, Lauren continues to collaborate with comedians she’s worked with for years - including Julio Torres on his annual Halloween costume competition extravaganza, The Cursed Amulet; and SNL’s Devon Walker, whose popular podcast My Favorite Lyrics was developed while Disco Nap produced his monthly stand-up show DAD alongside comedians Gary Richardson and Alex English and most recently with Holmes for their one-day comedy festival About to Bust. 

Other Disco Nap collaborators include Caleb Hearon, Mary Beth Barone, Amelia Dimoldenberg, Langston Kerman, Mo Fry Pasic, and Sudi Green, among others.
